Hydraulic submerisible pumps & power units and vacuum-assisted non-clog pumps being used on a sewer bypass project in Phoenix, AZ in which the presumed peak flow was actually half the actual flow. Once the project started Griffin found a way to double the system. Griffin bypass of a 30” sewer line. The equipment was sized for a peak flow rate of 24 million gallons per day (16,667 gallons per minute) and consisted of 4 primary pumps and 2 standby pumps. Project was located in Orange Co, California.
